I have so missed my garden. I really need to make it a priority and not take it for granted. It's so easy to throw a few seeds in the bed, water them a couple times and then just walk away. In the Winter I don't have many bugs, don't need to water as much, weeds are far and few between...so yes I just let it do it's thing. I wander out in the late afternoon and grab a shallot, leek or a handful of herbs to brighten up dinner. There's broccoli, cauliflower, cabbages, leeks, lettuce, shallots and herbs to harvest...it's been cool enough nothing bolts...so I can go out when I think about it and fill a basket for the house and plenty to share with the family and friends. The chickens are laying like crazy, too and I'm sure the tidbits from the garden help keep them happy. So I have committed to spending my *nap* time in the garden in my new hammock!

Looks like you have a good bit of empty space there that needs filling.
I'm so jealous, it looks so very inviting.
Hammock and garden just go together like peas and carrots, don't they.
Have a great gardening weekend.
How wonderful to have such great veggies this time of year. I'm glad you're enjoying them.
Looks wonderful Lynda.
Something ate my spinach & lettuce....DRAT
Looks good Lynda! I'm sure I will envy your beautiful broccoli again this year!
Nice to see a year round garden... at least in pictures. My garden is sitting under snow .. and the frozen goods from last year are dwindling.
Everything looks so healthy and yummy, Lynda. Enjoy that new hammock! :)
